OpenVPN for Kali Linux OS

 
Following tutorial has been created on “Kali Linux 64 bit version 2018.2
 

Step #1: Download FastestVPN Config Files for OpenVPN TCP and UDP from here.

Note: Re-download these config files after every 15 days to get the updated server list
 

Step #2: Go to your ‘Downloads’ folder, right click on the zip folder you downloaded in above step and then click Extract here.

 Folder will be extracted and in the extracted folder, you can see two separate folders for configuration files of TCP and UDP servers.

Step #3: Now open the Terminal and write these commands

      cd Downloads
      cd Fastestvpn_ovpn

      cd UDP_Files   (OR cd TCP_Files whichever protocol you want to connect to).
      Press “Enter”

Step #4: Write ls and press “Enter”. It will list all the available FastestVPN Servers.

Step #5: Now write sudo openvpn [Your desired server] from this server list.
Example: sudo openvpn UK-UDP.ovpn

Step #6: It will ask for your credentials. Write your “FastestVPN Username” and “FastestVPN Password” and press “Enter”.

Once the yellow highlighted message appears, that means you are connected.

To disconnect FastestVPN, press Ctrl+C on keyboard or in another terminal type sudo killall openvpn

To connect to another server, repeat Step 3 to 6.
