Change My VPN Location on Apple TV
Change Your VPN Location on Apple TV With FastestVPN via the WiFi router
Note: Apple TV doesn’t natively support VPNs, and to connect Apple TV with FastestVPN, you’ve to configure the router with the VPN. If you’re configuring the router, click here to check the compatible routers. The other method is to connect the VPN to your computer via an Ethernet cable.
If your WiFi router is manually configured to FastestVPN, you can change the server location by entering the server address. You can find out how to change locations for different FastestVPN compatible routers by clicking here.
This guide details the steps to change your FastestVPN server location on a TP-Link router manually configured with the service.
- Launch your web browser.
- In the address bar, enter 192.168.1.1 (common router address).
- Log in using your router’s username and password (often both “admin”, but check the manual or sticker if needed).
- Find the “VPN settings” section (location varies, search for “VPN,” “Advanced,” or “Network”).
- Locate the “server configuration” options within the VPN settings.
If your router allows manual server selection, update the “Server Address” field with the desired FastestVPN server address. You can find the server addresses from here and enter your preferred location’s server address.
