How Do I Stop a Website From Knowing My Location?
Even if you’re connected to the browser VPN extension, websites will know your original location if you allow them. If you’ve done so, here’s how you can stop a website from knowing your location:
- Navigate to the search engine’s search tab.
- Click on the small lock at the corner-left of the URL. (Note that you won’t see this if you haven’t allowed location access)
- You’ll see a toggle switch beside Location. Click on it to toggle it off.
You’ve now disabled location access.
