FastestVPN IKEv2 VPN Configuration for Mac OS Through the VPN App
Note: FastestVPN is compatible with Mac OS El Capitan 10.11 and later, i.e., MacOS 14 Sonoma. This tutorial is for direct IKEv2 (Internet Key Exchange) protocol configuration directly through the FastestVPN app for MacOS.
- Click on the Apple logo on the top-left corner of the screen.
- Select System Preferences.
- Go to Network.
- Navigate and select VPN connection. Click on the + sign to add a VPN connection.
- Select the IKEv2 type and add a name for the VPN too.
- Click on Create.
- Select the IKEv2 profile and add the following details:
Server Address: Your desired VPN server address, as in this case, “Austria” server address: at.jumptoserver.com. Click here to get the complete list of FastestVPN server addresses.
Remote ID: Type in jumptoserver.com
Click on “Authentication Settings”.
- Type Username>Password. Select OK.
- Click on the box beside Show VPN Status in the Menu Bar. This will check out the box.
- Select Apply.
- You’re now connected to the IKEv2 Protocol on MacOS.
